Spider-Man 3 = Comic Book Heaven
If the first thing that comes out of your mouth about Spider-Man 3 is negative, that makes you a bitch. Bitch, bitch, bitch. All you really want in a movie is a sounding board for what you consider to be your critical intelligence, when in reality all you are doing is bitching about something that is so close to perfection that your tiny mind can't recogise or handle it, so you bitch. Unless you are not a Spider-Man comic-book fan, or a fan of Sam Raimi, or unless you are clinically blind, or mentally challenged, or were born with a complete lack of imagination, or can't remember what it is like to be a child or even a teenager watching a film, especially one about such an inspiring hero, then there is no excuse to bad-mouth this picture. It is brilliant and comically satirical and metaphorical and visually stunning. I have to go for now, but I'll write more about why you are a bitch later.

ah.... then I'm glad you didn't watch the film with Nico. It is rare in itself that Nico enjoys a film (his favorite is Shrek 2, and I'm not sure if that even garnered more than a 2 star rating). That said, I'm ignoring his morning rant about it "being ridiculous" (uhm,... it's a "spider"- "man" movie kid, suspend your fricken disbelief already!) and how much he didn't enjoy it. I hope his dad was able to enjoy it some nonetheless.
I'm hoping to catch it on the Imax this week if I can find some time. Glad to know that it'll be a treat! Thanks
Just have any one who downs it rewatch Ang Lee's version of The Hulk with Eric Banal.I took my nephew and afterward while walking home the 10 year old says " was it just me or was that a piece of shit ". No superhero movie can ever be panned again.

JUST A MOVIE, JUST A FUCKIN MOVIE. i guess we know what that sin is, stupidity. spider-man is more than a film it is Sam's brain child and if it was (as you say) "just a movie" onelastsin why did it score #1 opening weekend of all time. I'll tell you why. because its friggin master piece if i said wizard of oz was just a film, what would you say. or if i said crime and punishment was "just a book" or the 9th was "just a song" you are a moron and as my father so eloquently put it, you are a bitch and you haven't even seen the film yet.
It might have had the biggest opening weekend ever because its cheaper to score a dimebag than see a movie on a friday night now. Episode IV was $3.50 adult at night,cheaper for kids and matinees. I'm not bashing the movie,just pointing out that because of inflation you can never use the boxoffi$$$ in an argument.
